beautiful hotel but some minor issues

The location was really good, tucked away on a quiet street yet close to main attractions, we could walk to them all within minutes! The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and provided tea, coffee, and cookies. The bathroom was impeccably clean with a powerful shower that added comfort to our stay. During turndown service, we enjoyed good cookies.

Some minor aspects could improve, like the TV sound being less than optimal.

We had an elegant double room with a very comfy bed.

Absolutely spotless venue, incredible location so close to beautiful shops as well as the square and academia bridge, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had a quiet atmosphere and provided excellent service. Need to be mentioned, it had free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

I was stunned by the lack of breakfast options, just coffee and biscotti. Who thought using tea cups as cereal bowls was acceptable? Not to mention, the bed was harder than a rock. I thought I'd at least receive a complimentary upgrade for my troubles, but alas, I guess that's too much to ask in this hotel.

The room was great, spacious and really beautiful, though!

The hotel is situated in a quaint, quiet residential area which allowed for a peaceful retreat after bustling days exploring Venice.

The reception area was frequently unstaffed, making communication regarding services and check-out a bit challenging.

The room's bed situation was uncomfortable. It consisted of two twin mattresses pushed together that were not the same height or firmness, leading to a poor sleep experience. The air conditioning was ineffective, struggling to cool the room appropriately, while noise from other guests made it hard to get a decent night's rest. There were also plumbing issues, a persistent leak from the ceiling and a shower that leaked water. The overall hotel felt outdated and in need of maintenance, with many fixtures showing wear and tear.

The good cookies provided during turndown service were a lovely surprise, and the location made exploring central Venice effortless. I appreciated the spacious room with traditional furnishings, reflecting the charm of the city.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, which helped make the stay more pleasant. Bring your own toiletries as the bathroom's stand might not hold your items securely.

I really enjoyed my stay, as the location made it super easy to explore all the main attractions, barely a 10-minute walk away. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious, complete with a kettle for tea and a lovely array of cookies that was like a sweet touch at the end of a long day. Be mindful that my room had the two twin beds pushed together, which might not be to everyone's liking.

Absolutely loved the smoothies and culinary treasures nearby! Snagged some delish pastries from a bakery just a short stroll away. Plus, the room was spacious and super clean were nice, despite its quirks.

Frankly, I never leave a review, but my standards took a hit here. The bathroom door doesn't close, no privacy when nature called. Plus, there was a pesky leak from the shower that turned our floor into a mini lake. Just saying, keep your toiletries close to avoid disaster.
